Christina Ostlund, MPT
Christina graduated from the University of Alberta’s Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy program. She has been working for the past year at a private physiotherapy clinic in Burnaby. Currently she treats a variety of conditions including sports and workplace injuries, and motor vehicle accidents. In 2019 she will be learning and training in the fields of vestibular therapy, concussion management and dry needling.
Before her work as a physiotherapist, Christina worked at the BC Cancer Research Centre for five years. Her work here involved developing treatments to prevent breast cancer metastasis. Wanting to further her passion in helping people, she moved on to a career in physical therapy.
On her days off she enjoys spending time with her partner, neighbourhood runs, hiking and baking. Lots of baking.
